Direct effects of dopamine on mitochondrial thermogenesis in brown adipocytes

Brown adipose tissue (BAT) is key in energy homeostasis. Catecholamines are critically involved in the regulation of BAT-thermogenesis, yet current research has focussed on noradrenaline and adrenaline.
